Preserving Our Past Today for Tomorrow.
Residents of the Town of Thunderbolt have displayed interest in the Town having a Museum to retain and preserve the history and memories of Thunderbolt. Recognizing this, Alderwoman Joan Cesaroni spearheaded the campaign to secure state funds, and in the fall of 2000, a grant was awarded to the Town to go toward this effort.
The meetings have been well attended and surveys have been circulated to assess need from the community.
The response has been positive. Several of the Town's residents have stepped up and took leadership roles to see the project through.
The assistance of each and every person who loves the Town of Thunderbolt is welcomed and appreciated. If you would like to take active participation in this effort please contact the museum at (912) 351-0836.
