Kimberly A. Chappell-Stevens., Alderwoman
Kimberly Ann Chappell-Stevens is serving her second term on Council and is the liaison for the Thunderbolt Police Department and Municipal Courts. She is the daughter of former Thunderbolt Council member Frank Chappell, Jr. and Annie Chappell of Thunderbolt. She is employed as a literacy coach at Haven Elementary. She has held various positions including classroom teacher, assistant principal and principal over the years. She is the mother of one son, Franklin Chappell Stevens.

John Cheeks, Alderman
Alderman Cheeks is serving his second term on the Thunderbolt Town Council. He is council liaison working with Public Works Department.

Beth E. Goette, Alderwoman
Alderwoman Beth Goette is serving her third term on Town Council. She is Town Council Liasion for the Thunderbolt Museum. She also holds the office as Secretary for the Thunderbolt Community Improvement Association.

David P. Crenshaw, Alderman
Alderman David Crenshaw is serving his first elected four year term and he also serves on the Budget Committe. Born and raised in Savannah attending Savannah schools with a BA degree from Armstrong College. Currently a resident of Thunderbolt with Anne enjoying our 44th year of marriage after having lived in Charlotte, SC, Spartanburg, SC, Chicago, Louisiana, and Texas. We have sons and two wonderful daughters-in-laws that live in Spartanburg. Thirty eight years of experience in the paper industry all the way from clerk to senior manager. Retired but currently operating a small business with operations in Istanbul Turkey. Enjoy fishing, house and yard projects and Occasional golfing. Nine years of military experience and served on many boards and chaired several.
Anne and I simply love the small warm community of Thunderbolt with all the gracious and friendly residents.

Sherry Elmore-Phillips, Alderwoman
Sherry Elmore-Phillips is serving her first term as Councilwoman for the Town of Thunderbolt for the 2010-2014 term. She brings a history of administration, management and accounting experience to this elected position. She was born in Charleston, WV; moved to Savannah in ‘84’ and then to the Town of Thunderbolt in ‘08’. She is a graduate of Savannah State University, BA in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude. Her work experience includes: Government, Non-Profit, Public, Private and Manufacturing accounting and auditing.
She is currently employed with Gulfstream Aerospace as the Corporate Travel Services Manager.
She enjoys spending time with her brother, Shawn Elmore, a resident of Thunderbolt, and her children: Son, Ashton, attending AASU and daughter, Kassaundra, attending Georgia Southern.
Sherry volunteers as a board member for the Gulfstream Management Association, the Finance Board for the Savannah chapter of the National Big Brothers/Big Sisters Organization of America and the United Way of the Coastal Empire. She attends mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish.

John Henry, Alderman
John Henry is (Mayor Pro-Tem) and a thirty two year resident of Thunderbolt. He is retired from the Savannah Fire Dept and Georgia National Guard. John is widower with two sons and four grand children.
