About Our Department
Thunderbolt Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2,500 people living in an area of 6 square miles. Thunderbolt Fire Department operates out of a new fire station facility located off Mechanics Avenue (behind the Thunderbolt Library). Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We have an ISO rating of 5.

Drills and training are held weekly at the Fire Department, located on Mechanics Avenue (behind the Thunderbolt Library). So, come out and join a team of professionals dedicated to this community and it's safety.
