Public Works Department

The Town of Thunderbolt is pleased to announce that we have brought in our own Public Works Staff. Also, we are pleased to say that Tommy Ingram (23 years of service), Jommel Williams (23 years of service) and Henry “Pop” Leach (17 years of service) will remain on board as our Town’s employees. Although they were with OMI for 4 years, they are all happy as they put it “to be at home again”.

Scope of Services:

  • Water and Sewer
    • Water Meter Readings
    • Repair/Replace Faulty Waterlines, Repair Leaks
    • All Aspects of Water Sampling
    • Emergency Response to Major Water and Sewer Problems

  • Roads:
    • Maintenance of Right of Ways
    • Minor Road Repairs
    • Maintenance of Right of Ways and Sidewalks

  • Maintain Drainage Ditches and Catch Basins

  • Trimming of Underbrush

  • Replacement/Repair of Street Signs When Needed

  • Town Buildings, Parks and Recreation:
    • Cleaning and Maintenance of All Town Buildings
    • Maintenance and Upgrades for Parks and Recreation Areas
