The Town of Thunderbolt's inspections department is responsible for all building, plumbing, and electrical inspections within the Town. Building Permits and associated inspections are required for all new residential and commercial construction as well as most renovations, repairs and /or improvements such as fences, carports, wells, roof replacements, etc.  Please call the Town Clerk's office at (912) 629-4655 to clarify whether your project will require any permits. You may also submit a request to our building inspector at  or contact The Town of Thunderbolt at (912)-354-5533.
